What is Refined Twitter Search?

If you use Twitter’s online application, you have probably used their search feature and either typed in a word or words and even used the hashtag (#) to help you find the content you were looking for.  If you were like me, you might have gotten a bit frustrated with the results because the output wasn’t quite as refined as you may have wanted.  Did you know there is a Refined Twitter Search that allows you to get even more specific search results?  You can search “all words”, “any words”, “exact phrase” and many more, but the one I like the most, I show you how to use in the video.  Learn how to use the Refined Twitter Search to find your target market!

    Great tip, Knikkolette! I’ve been using Twitter for some time now, and never even considered using the refined search. I honestly have avoided it, and didn’t even know the thing exist. So thanks a lot for sharing. :)

    Thanks, Knikkolette. I did not know there was a refined search option and also didn’t know that you could save the results. I have not given it a try yet, but I imagine it’s also useful for drilling down into other criteria besides geography. That really could be helpful. You know all the good tricks on these social media platforms. :-)

      Thanks Sherry for your kind words. I go back and forth between several 3rd party apps and the web interface because so far I haven’t found that “perfect” platform. I’m still searching and reviewing though!
